What is Underfloor heating?

Underfloor heating or hydronic heating uses hot circulated water to heat your home as opposed to warm air as most conventional heaters. Hydronic heating can be one of the most cost effective ways of heating a home.

Underfloor Heating is most suited to new home builders and extensions however it can be worked into your renovations in an existing home.

How does a Hydronic System work?

A Hydronic heating system works by firstly heating up the water through a heat source. Then circulating the warm water through a series of pipes usually imbedded in a concrete slab. Hydronic Panel radiators operate by a continuous flow of warm water that runs through flow and return pipes to and from the radiator. The radiator will heat up and distribute a radiant heat which spreads through the whole room. All radiators can be adjusted and operated individually.
